Daily Skincare Routine

I'm currently sitting in my favorite chair, enjoying some unfamiliar quiet time while Chase and Kadyn sleep in the next room. Now that I'm a mom, I definitely don't take this "me" time for granted like I used to.

I don't know about y'all, but I am always curious to see the different products that other people use. Whether it be skincare, makeup, hair products, or even cleaning products. I'm always looking for something new to try and seeing what other women use usually inspires me to try something new, or at least gives me an idea about something I may want to try in the future. I've shared some of my favorite hair and makeup products before, but haven't ever shared any skincare products.

Today I'm sharing my daily skincare routine, including three of my tried and true skincare products- all of which I've been using for years! My skincare routine is SUPER simple, literally just three steps, but it's what works for me.

Step 1 I've been using CeraVe facial cleanser since my dermatologist recommended it to me in high school. I have gone back and forth between the foaming cleanser and the hydrating cleanser as my skin has changed through the years. I'm currently using the foaming cleanser, which is recommended for oily skin.
I use this cleanser every morning and night. On nights when I am trying to remove makeup, I double cleanse. I don't use any makeup remover or wipes, I just wash my face twice (back to back) with this cleanser and it removes every bit of my makeup. I have noticed a huge difference in my breakouts since I started double cleansing!

Step 2 - After cleansing my face, I apply a small amount of my fresh facial toner to a cotton pad and rub the cotton pad all over my face.

Step 3 - I follow the toner with CeraVe moisturizer.

I do each of these steps both morning and night.

One last product I want to share with y'all before I go. While this mask is not a part of my daily routine, it is one of my favorite facial masks and I do try to use it at least once a week.
