Weekend Recap

Happy Monday y'all! I hope y'all had a great day. It's rained non-stop for the past two days so I'm currently cuddled up on the couch with my sweet pup. I meant to share a little recap of our weekend this morning and completely forgot to post, so here it is a little late...

We had our Fall Festival at school on Friday night so needless to say it was a LONG day. I ended up just staying after school with one of my teacher friends. We spent most of our time waiting on one of the food trucks to show up so that we could grab dinner before having to go work our game. I spent my night running a "trick or treat" game with one of my teammates, and then stuck around long enough after the games closed down to see how my class basket did in our auction. I got home around 8:45 and went right to bed.

I slept in until around 7 on Saturday morning, and spent my morning cozied up on the couch. Since Chase works Friday nights and doesn't get home until late he usually sleeps in a little. Fall weather is finally here so I soaked up some early morning time with the fireplace on, fall candles burning, and my coffee of course. I made breakfast and caught up on a few of my shows before cleaning up around the house.

Saturday afternoon Chase and I had hibachi for lunch. We had wanted to go last weekend and never made it. It did not disappoint!

After lunch we headed the Nashville so that I could make a little Trader Joe's run. I went a few months ago, and loaded up on some goodies and was ready to go back.

Just a few of our Trader Joe's finds. We tried their Orange Chicken last time, and loved it so much that I stocked up on multiple bags this time. I'm excited to try their Fried Rice too. I've also heard great things about he Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese so I'm excited to try it. I plan on sharing the rest of our finds one day next week.

Saturday evening we had Hibachi leftovers for dinner, and spent the night catching up on some of our shows we had missed last week.

Sunday morning started with Starbucks, church, and a Target run. It rained alllll day long so we had a lazy day binge watching Blacklist. We started watching it last week and we are hooked.

It was the perfect day for soup, so Chase helped me cook potato soup for dinner. It was the perfect fall weekend.

I hope y'all have a great week!
xoxo
