SEACREST/ROSEMARY BEACH TRIP PART 2

Happy Wednesday friends! Today I'm recapping Days 3 & 4 of our 30A vacation. If you missed Part 1 of our trip you can read it HERE.

Chase & I woke up bright and early on Tuesday morning and went for a quick run around Seacrest & Rosemary before making our way to get coffee and donuts. I had big intentions to run 3 or 4 mornings while on our trip, but this was the only day that I followed through.

After breakfast we picked up some ice in our little town square before packing all of our essentials for the beach. How cute is the Seacrest town square?! We were staying in one of the condos in the brick building that you can see in the background, so we literally just walked downstairs and were right in the middle of town. We loved being so close to all of the restaurants and the cutest little grocery store, Seacrest Sundries, was right underneath us.

I mentioned in Monday's post that today was the day that we figured out how to use the tram service that Seacrest Beach offers. On this day we loaded all of our supplies onto the tram and rode to the beach. SO MUCH EASIER than walking, and we drove by some of the prettiest beach houses on our way to the beach.

Tuesday's beach view. I wish I would've got a picture of the water up close because it was crystal clear.

Excited for another day spent soaking up the sun.

After spending most of the day at the beach, we headed back to the condo for a bit to grab a snack and relax, and then made our way to the pool for about an hour. This became our routine for the rest of our trip too. I finished up "Girl, Wash Your Face" which was absolutely amazing and bought the book, "Come Matter Here" on my nook. I got started on it at the pool that afternoon.

We left the pool and got cleaned up for dinner. Were were excited to be heading to The Hub for the first time. The last time we stayed on 30A we had planned to visit this cute little area, but ended up not having time to fit it into our schedule. I'm so glad we made the time during this trip because it was so neat.

This fun little area was hidden behind all of the shops/restaurants and couldn't be seen from the road. It was the cutest little spot.

We ate at Mile Marker 15 for dinner. I had the Fish Tacos with chips & salsa and Chase had a burger. Both were delicious. We finished the night off with ice cream at Mr. Freeze. We will definitely be making our way back to The Hub on our next trip to 30A.

Wednesday started out the same way as the previous two days. Coffee & donuts before heading to the beach. We left the beach around 3, grabbed a snack, and made our way to the pool again. This was the only picture I managed to take until we left for dinner Wednesday night.

On Wednesday night we headed to grab dinner at The Steamboat Grill.

I had the lobster bites with fries, and we had spinach dip as our appetizer. It was good, but to be honest, we were a little disappointed. We ate here during our trip this past April and had the best experience. The food and service were both GREAT then, and we were so excited to come back. This time they were much busier so we completely understood the service not being as good as it had been before, but the food wasn't as good either. I'm not sure if we'll visit here again on our next trip or not. It just didn't compare to some of the other places we went.

After dinner we had ice cream at Smallcakes 30A , and it was amazing! They also had some of the best looking cupcakes.

We took our ice cream to-go and went on an evening walk around Rosemary. Our favorite evening activity included grabbing ice cream and walking around Rosemary after dinner.

We sat down for a little while and enjoyed these views before heading back to our condo to watch a few episodes of Friday Night Lights.

That's it for today! I'll be back on Friday sharing the last two days of our trip!
xoxo
