Fall Bucket List

In honor of it being the first week of October, I have been sharing all things fall-related this week. On Tuesday I shared my Fall Home Tour and yesterday I shared my October Goals. Today I'm sharing my Fall Bucket List with y'all. If you can't tell, fall is my absolute favorite time of the year (right next to Christmas of course) and I always make a bucket list with everything festive that I want to do during the fall season.

1. Go to the drive in to see a movie -  I used to go to the drive-in theater all the time when I was younger, and always loved it. Chase and I have only been together once, and it was right after we graduated high school so it's been a while. I have been dying to go since this past summer and we just haven't had the chance to go yet, so I'm hoping we can make it happen this fall.

2. Have a bonfire at home with friends - Every year around this time we will have a bonfire at our house with all of our friends. There's just something about sitting by the fire on a cold night that feels like "fall."

3. Jackson's Orchard - We love visiting Jackson's Orchard during the fall to get some of our favorite treats. I like to stock up on their apple cider and pumpkin bread mix, and we never leave without getting an apple pie or an apple cider float. We've already been a few times this year, but we will definitely a lot more before the season is over.

4. Eat all my favorite pumpkin-flavored treats - I love pumpkin-flavored everything so I try to take advantage of all things pumpkin during this time of the year. I made pumpkin bread this past weekend, I've had a few PSL's from Starnucks, and I picked up some pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls to try too.

5. Carve pumpkins - Carving pumpkins is one of my favorite fall traditions. I carved pumpkins with my parents when I lived at home, and now Chase and I carve pumpkins together every year.

6. Go on a weekend trip to the Smokies - This has been on my bucket list for the past few years. We LOVE the smokies, and have been during every season except fall. I've been dying to visit the Smokies when the leaves are changing and all of their fall decorations are out. I'm hoping we can make it happen this year.

7. Visit a haunted house-  I've been visiting haunted houses every year since elementary school. Chase and I actually went "haunted housing" the night we got engaged. We love a good haunted house.

8. Watch all of my favorite Halloween movies - I always like to watch some of my favorite childhood Halloween movies during this time of the year, Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown were some of my favorites growing up. We also love a good scary movie, so I'm sure we'll watch a few of those too.

9. Eat caramel apples - It wouldn't be fall without a few caramel apples.

10. Try making a new fall dessert - I've made pumpkin bread for the past two years, and have made pumpkin muffins, and pumpkin cheesecake in the past. I want to try a new recipe this year.

Have a great Thursday y'all!
XOXO

You are so brave to do a haunted house; I'm too much of a chicken! I would love the Apple Orchard visit. They are so fun and fally!
