Fall Break Recap

Hey y'all! I've been on the struggle bus this week. Monday was our first day back after fall break and a Professional Learning Day for teachers, and yesterday was the first day back for students. I missed my sweet students so much while on break and was so excited to see them yesterday morning, but why is it always SO hard to go back after a long break? I'll be extra excited to see the weekend this week. :)

I started the weekend before fall break off with a Maple Pecan Latte and pumpkin bread. #sogoodyall

I made some pumpkin bread last Sunday night. I've been taking advantage of all the fall food. :)

I slept a little later than normal over break, but was still up early enough to see this gorgeous sunrise every morning.

I tried out a new White Chicken Chili Recipe and it turned out so good! I'll share it and a few other slow cooker recipes soon.

Most of my mornings started with coffee and Gilmore Girls. I always love to re-watch episodes every fall.

Tuesday one of my friends and I spent the day shopping and exploring in Nashville.

We walked around 12th South for a little bit, checking out all the murals.

We checked out Draper James.

And I visited my favorite Nashville doughnut shop. Their doughnuts are literally the BEST.

How adorable is this sweet flower truck? They also had the cutest farmers market set up at the park next-door.

The next day, I had one of the doughnuts I had bought in Nashville for breakfast. It was my first time trying their cookie dough doughnut and oh my goodness y'all.

I cleaned out my closet, and got rid of a TON of clothes. I was tossing my hangers in the floor as I got rid of clothes.

Chase's birthday was Thursday. We didn't do much that day, but we celebrated all weekend. Friday we headed to his dad's for a cookout with his side of the family. I didn't take any pictures at the cookout, but I did manage to get a cute picture of my outfit that night. ;)

Saturday we tried a new authentic Mexican restaurant in town and it was a hit. After lunch, we went and saw a movie, and did a little shopping for Chase's birthday.

Sunday after church we all met at Chase's mom to celebrate his and his twin brother's birthdays.

Have a good day y'all!
XOXO

  2. I literally just saw that same exact flower truck on a day time tv show just a few weeks ago.
I can't remember what it was, but they were talking about how the business got started.
I would love to buy flowers from it each week!
