Healthy Breakfast Options

Happy Thursday! I don't know about y'all, but I'm SO ready for the weekend. Today I'm excited to share some of the healthier meals I've been eating/making for breakfast here lately. One of my New Years Resolutions was to just be healthier overall. I've been trying to workout more often and eat healthier meals. I love to cook, and one of my favorite things to do is get on Pinterest and try new recipes. This can be a problem because a lot of the recipes I've tried in the past have been delicious, but not so healthy. Here lately I've really made an effort to try to make healthier meals all day long. Next week I'll be sharing details about what I've been eating for lunch.

What I'm eating for Breakfast:

French toast with just one spoonful of syrup (or none), fresh eggs, fruit, and coffee. This is one of my favorite breakfast choices, but I rarely have time to make it during the week. This is usually my breakfast on Saturday mornings.

Instant whole grain oatmeal, fruit, and coffee. This is one of my go-to breakfast options during the week. It's super easy while still being healthy.

Toast with peanut butter, honey, and banana and coffee.

Smoothies are another great option for weekday mornings. They also make a great snack. A lot of times I just throw in whatever fruits I have in the fridge (usually berries of some kind), a banana, spinach or kale, a spoonful of peanut butter or yogurt, and frozen fruit or ice. This smoothie just has a banana, non-fat milk, and ice. Only 3 ingredients and SO good.
