Friday Favorites

Today I'm linking up with Andrea , Erika , and Narci for Friday Favorites. Since the New Year is upon us I thought I would share some of my favorite memories from 2016. This year has most definitely been one of the BEST years yet. 2016 was filled with so many big changes, new beginnings, and blessings. It is going to be a hard year to top.

Today's post consists of a bit of a picture overload, but I have so many great memories from this year and didn't want to leave any of them out. :)

On January 1st, we celebrated the new year with our closest friends.

We were six months away from our wedding and I was in full on planning mode. On the 16th my sweet bridesmaids and I traveled to TN to pick out their bridesmaids dresses.

On January 20th we had some of the first snow days of the year. We ended up missing two weeks of school in January and February because of snow. I love me some snow days and am hoping for more this year.

At the beginning of the month my momma, sister, and I had a craft day. My mom had ordered these cute Valentine's door hangers online and we spent the afternoon painting them. Such a sweet memory.

On February 14th we spent our Valentine's morning together at church. When we left church there were about 5 inches of snow on the ground and we barely made it home in my poor car. :)

And on the 26th, I finished up the first half of my student teaching experience. It was such a bittersweet day with the sweet students I worked with. I miss those sweet faces so much.

I spent the first days of march enjoying the warmer weather with my family. Afternoon walks at the park are our favorite.

And hiking with my best friends.

On March 27th we celebrated Easter and my 22nd Birthday with church and Red Lobster.

Our Spring Break was the 1st week of April and we spent the first few days in the Smoky Mountains
The view from our cabin was gorgeous!

We spent our mornings hiking in the mountains.

And our evening eating at our favorite spots. We love the Dixie Stampede. :)

Spring Break ended with a trip to the zoo with my best friend.
On April 16th we had our Wedding Shower.

And on the 29th I finished up my student teaching. I student taught at the same school I went to as a kid and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was blessed with the best mentor teachers and kiddos.

On May 1st I picked up my wedding dress.

On May 7th my bridesmaids put together the best Bachelorette Party full of fun games, food, gifts, and a trip to Nashville that consisted of dinner and us getting locked out of the parking garage where our vehicle was parked. :)

On May 14th I graduated from WKU with my Teaching Degree.

We kicked off June by celebrating the engagement of Chase's twin brother and his fiancée, who happens to be one of my best friends.

On June 10th, my sweet sister took me to see one of my favorite people, Jessie James Decker, for the first time.
June 11th was moving day and ONE week until our wedding.

The week leading up to our wedding was spent getting our home ready to live in. This girl was there to help just about every day.

I married my best friend on June 18th.

The next week was spent in Seaside, FL for our honeymoon.

We hosted a 4th of July party at our home with all of our best friends and had the BEST time. I love these girls.
Chase's brother and sister are both getting married during the Spring of 2017, and I'm lucky enough to be a part of both weddings. In July, I spent a day shopping for bridesmaid dresses with these ladies for his brothers' wedding.
The whole crew. :)
Date night with my hubby on July 9th.

And more wedding planning fun for my brother-in-law's wedding.

I landed my dream job at the end of July and the last days of Summer were spent getting my classroom ready for my students.

I started my teaching career on August 9th, and was surprised with these sweet flowers from a student the next week.

August consisted of many double date nights with Chase's brother and his fiancé.

And nights spent by the fire with friends.

September started with our first trip to Jackson's Orchard for the Fall Season.

On the 25th, we picked out our bridesmaids dresses for my sister-in-law's wedding.

And on the 30th, I kicked off Fall Break with a lazy morning of coffee and Gilmore Girls.

On October 1st, my mom hosted the first annual Clark Fall Festival.

Complete with pumpkin decorating...

And family game night.
We celebrated the hubby's 23rd birthday on the 5th.

An attended Glendale Day's for the first time on the 15th.

I spent a few days at a teaching conference in mid-October.

The last days of October were spent enjoying the gorgeous Fall weather we had at Mammoth Cave.

And with a final trip to Jackson's Orchard.

On the 5th, I went to the Red River Farms Festival with my momma, mother-in-law, and sis-in-law.
On the 8th we celebrated my sisters birthday with dinner, and some family time.
On the 20th we put up our 1st Christmas Tree.
On the 22nd we celebrated my brother's 17th birthday.

And on the 24th, we spent our first Thanksgiving together as a married couple.
I spent the last few days of Thanksgiving Break binge-watching the new Season of Gilmore Girls.

On the 3rd we visited Chad's Winter Wonderland.
On the 17th we went to Opryland to see The Grinch, and enjoy the lights.
I spent my first week of break hanging out with two of my favorite people.

And we ended the month by celebrating our first married Christmas together.

I hope y'all have a great New Year!
