Halloween 2016

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! This was our first Halloween as a married couple and we kept it pretty low key. I made some enchilada soup for dinner and we watched a few episodes of Dexter on Netflix. We planned to carve a pumpkin and make some homemade apple cider slushies, but Chase got home late from his night class and we were both worn out. It was still a great first Halloween. It was also my first Halloween as a teacher and I have to say seeing all the sweet kiddos at school all dressed up was one of my very favorite parts of the day. :)

The yummy enchilada soup that we had for dinner. I found the recipe on Pinterest about a month ago and have already make it twice. You can find the recipe here. I threw all the ingredients into the crockpot before leaving for school and it was finished when I got home yesterday afternoon. My favorite kind of meal!

I hope y'all have a great day!
XOXO
