Fall Break Recap

Happy Monday! I can't believe that the first Fall Break of my teaching career has come and gone... way too quickly, I might add. I have mixed emotions about heading back to work today, but I do know that I'm super excited to see my sweet kiddos and get back into my routine.
The break was much needed! I was able to relax, spend time with family, catch up with friends, and prepare for my first big observation, which takes place this morning -- wish me luck!
Now get ready for a picture overload!

Day 1 was rainy and nasty out so I cuddled up on the couch that morning with a cup of coffee and some Gilmore Girls... SO RELAXING! After a relaxing morning, I got ready and headed to town to hangout with my sweet sister. We had dinner, and then headed to Barnes & Noble for a little Starbucks and reading time. I ended up buying Emily Maynard's book I Said Yes because I couldn't put it down.

"The Clark First Annual Fall Festival" took place on Day 2. We planned this day months ago so we were so excited for it to finally be here! Come back on Wednesday to see more about all the fall fun we had!

Days 3-5
I had a lazy Sunday with Chase that started with a little grocery shipping and Qdoba, and ended with some Law and Order SVU and potato soup. :)

I met up with one of my friends, LeAnn, for lunch, a little shopping, and we couldn't forget Starbucks

Days 6-10
The last few days of Fall Break were spent celebrating my sweet hubby's 23rd Birthday, hanging out with my family. :)

On Wednesday, my favorite guy turned 23, and we celebrated with both our families with dinner at Longhorn.

Thursday consisted of a hair appointment and lunch with my sweet momma. :)

Some more Birthday celebrations for Chase on Saturday!

And I ended Fall Break spending some time with these boys.
